Coiled to Spring is my tagline. I came up with it many years ago, and even named my CD EP (guitar and voice!) “Coiled to Spring.”
It springs (excuse the pun) from people telling me I move too fast. I could be sitting down then jump up and be somewhere else in two seconds. Additionally — and this was more true fifteen years ago than now — I used to be full of tense energy but wasn’t actually achieving my creative goals. It was as if I was an incubating egg, waiting to hatch. Very frustrating. But I think I’ve moved beyond that now.
